Local watch: Manzardo hits eighth home run of season in Cleveland win

Kyle Manzardo, the former Lake City High and Washington State star, hit a game-tying solo home run in the top of the sixth inning for the Cleveland Guardians in a 4-2 win over the host Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday.

Manzardo hit a 370-foot home run to make it 2-2, his eighth of the season. He is now batting .237 (47 for 198) with 23 RBIs in 65 games.
