Keeler Creek temporary bridge work

A Thompson Contracting Inc. employee operates a front end loader Wednesday, June 17, 2026, while moving bridge pieces at the Keeler Creek crossing on Lake Creek Road near Troy. The bridge was washed out in the Dec. 10, 2025, flooding. Lincoln County officials approved a temporary bridge installation at the location because a new structure would have taken much longer to complete. In addition to TCI, the county's Troy Road Crew and Acrow Bridge were also working at the site. Officials hope to have work done by June 25. (Scott Shindledecker/The Western News)
