Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest has purchased a facility at 750 W. Canfield Ave. in Coeur d’Alene. The 36,000-square-foot facility, formerly owned by
Sunshine Minting Inc., will become Goodwill’s second location in Coeur d’Alene.

It will house Goodwill’s Workforce & Family Services, a retail store and donation center and Ecommerce.

“We look forward to expanding our service footprint in north Idaho,” said Clark Brekke, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest. “We are eternally grateful for the support we receive from local donors and shoppers who partner with us to provide a hand up to people in the community.”

WFS and business office spaces will comprise roughly 6,000 square feet. The retail store and supporting production area will take 13,650 square feet.

The donation center will be roughly 400 square feet. The Ecommerce department will be about 6,000 square feet.

This will be Goodwill’s third Ecommerce location in the region. Goodwill made an offer on the property March 26.

“Our Ecommerce department is growing and providing amazing support for our mission services,” said Kara Cheney, senior vice president of operations for Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest.

This new facility brings the count of Goodwill locations in North Idaho to six, including locations in Post Falls, Ponderay, Moscow and Lewiston.

Architect for the project is LL Studio Architecture & Consulting. Baker Construction and Development will complete construction.
