James Derwin Jacobson, 67, born June 17, 1959, in Hot Springs hospital, passed away on June 17, 2026, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He attended school at a one-room school on Birch Grove, moved to a farm in Sunburst, then to Columbia Falls, until the Navy landed him in sunny San Diego. He stayed in California until home brought him back in 2013. His mission in life was to make motorcycles go faster, always tinkering with some sort of mechanics.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Kathy, and his younger brother, Tony.
He is survived by his sister, Melody Jacobson and his golden group of lifelong friends. Johnathon Nutzman held a special place in his heart until the end. Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning how to ride in the rain. RIP, our brother, full throttle.
