WHITEFISH — The Glacier Twins dropped both games of a Sunday doubleheader against the Cranbrook Bandits, falling 12-0 and 15-3 in Legion baseball.

In the opener, Cranbrook broke through with a run-scoring single from Riley Hughston-Bulmer in the second inning and steadily built its lead from there. The Bandits added another run in the third before scoring five in the fifth to pull away.

Derek Juntunen took the loss for Glacier (1-11) after allowing seven runs on eight hits over three innings while striking out three. Cranbrook starter Quentin Evans tossed five scoreless innings with eight strikeouts.

Treyson Murphy and Ryder Conley each recorded a hit for Glacier, with Conley also stealing two bases. Cranbrook finished with 12 hits, led by Dallin Rodger’s 3-for-4 performance and four RBIs from Ty Dupley.

The Bandits completed the sweep with a 15-3 victory in the second game.

Cranbrook scored three runs in the first inning and added two more in the third before breaking the game open with a seven-run fifth. Treyson Murphy started for Glacier and struck out five, but defensive miscues and nine Cranbrook walks helped fuel the Bandits.

Kiernan RK paced Glacier with two hits, while Gavin Smith and Travis Banks each drove in a run. Conley stole two more bases and the Twins drew six walks. Olly Williams and Rodger collected two hits apiece for Cranbrook, with Williams driving in three runs.
