Four-vehicle fatality crash on U.S. 95 near Sandpoint

A 66-year-old woman died in a four-vehicle crash Saturday morning near Sandpoint.
According to the Idaho State Police, a 40-year-old man from Ponderay was driving a Honda Fit on U.S. 95 northbound near milepost 483 about 11:20 a.m. when he pulled over to allow a Toyota Tacoma that was also traveling northbound, driven by a 26-year-old male from Sandpoint to pass.
As the Toyota passed the Honda the two vehicles made contact, ISP said.
The Toyota went left of center and crossed into oncoming traffic before colliding with a southbound GMC Sierra, driven by a female.
Ater the GMC was struck, a southbound Subaru Forester driven by a 52-year-old woman struck the GMC from behind.
The driver of the GMC was pronounced deceased on scene, ISP said.
The drivers of the Honda, Toyota and Subaru were wearing seat belts. The driver of the GMC was not wearing a seat belt, ISP said.
At this time alcohol and drugs are not suspected, ISP said.
An investigation continues.
