Rosters have been chosen for the second annual Montana High School All-Star Baseball Game, and a host of area athletes are on the West All-Stars for the Aug. 15 game in Butte.

Three athletes from Glacier and three from State A champion Bigfork fortify the roster: Catcher Brady Buckmaster, first baseman Kaeden Kahler and pitcher Kyler Croft from the Wolfpack; outfielder Grady Campbell and pitchers Max Schara and Hayden Mayer for the Vikings.

Also selected were Reed Boyer and Tait Orme of Whitefish, Cody Haggard and Holden Emerson of Polson, Rowan Burow and Rogan Lytle of Eureka, Nico Young of Columbia Falls and Jake Heiser of Mission.

No All-Stars were selected from State AA champion Missoula Sentinel.

Several more area athletes are alternates for the game, set for 4 p.m. at Butte’s 3 Legends Stadium. A selection committee, chaired by Mel Hamilton of Butte, met with West coaches in Polson to select their squad back in May. The East All-Stars drew from Butte and Dillon and points East.
