The boundaries of the areas proposed to be amended from ‘R-1 Suburban Residential’ to ‘B-2 General Business’ are described as: Parcels 1, 2, and 3 of Certificate of Survey No. 18883, located in the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 22 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana. NO. 32176 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATION BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF MONTANA In re Greenfield Irrigation District’s Petition to Set Terms and Conditions for Qualifying Small Power Production Facility   Docket 2026.06.037 June 19, 2026 Notice of Application and Intervention Deadline 1. On June 2, 2026, Greenfields Irrigation District (“Greenfields”) filed a Petition to Set Terms and Conditions pursuant to Montana Code Annotated §§ 69-3-603 Through -604 (“Application”) with the Montana Public Service Commission (“Commission”). 2. Greenfields is the developer of the 3-megawatt Arnold Coulee Hydroelectric Project, which the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission certified as a qualifying small power production facility under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978. Greenfields states it has been unable to agree with NorthWestern Energy (“NorthWestern”) on contract terms regarding the proper Point of Delivery (“POD”) for the project. According to the Application, the central point of dispute is the physical and commercial location of the POD, with Greenfields advocating for a POD located at the Bole Substation, and NorthWestern contending the POD must be located at either Choteau or Great Falls. 3. A copy of the filing is publicly available at the Commission’s business office, 1701 Prospect Avenue, Helena, MT 59601, and the Commission’s online REDDI portal (reddi.mt.gov) under Docket 2026.06.037. A copy may also be available at the office of the Montana Consumer Counsel (“MCC”), which represents consumer interests before the Commission, 111 North Last Chance Gulch, Suite 1B, Helena, MT 59601, (406) 444-2771. Interested persons can register on the Commission’s website to receive notice of filings in this docket.
