Desperately trying to make up time while driving to catch a flight at the airport backfired on a traveler. A Kalispell Police officer pulled over the out-of-state motorist and issued them a warning for speeding.

Officers mounted extra patrols near a multiuse path.

The driver of a grey Toyota Tundra got a warning for expired registration and a citation for lacking insurance.

Thieves apparently helped themselves to an unlocked vehicle parked outside an apartment building and made off with $20 in a bank envelope. The victim told investigators she found the door slightly open when she returned to it. Nothing else was missing, but it looked like items left inside were moved around.

A resident complained about a neighbor leaving a riding mower parked in an alley, which in turn made it difficult for him to get out of his driveway. Officers inspected the alley and described it as devoid of vehicles or mowers.

Officers cited a motorist for failing to yield in a roundabout.

Someone wanted the police to conduct a welfare check on an individual holding two grocery bags and apparently sleeping while standing up on the sidewalk. The person seemed wobbly and there was a concern that they might fall into the street. Officers unsuccessfully searched for the individual.
