Norm worked at Stemco and retired as the General Manager. Before that, he was a salesman and then the service manager for Hobart for many years. In his early years, he delivered milk.

He was a loving man who cared for the people around him. He often took family and friends out to lunch at Elmer’s, Texas Roadhouse and Denny’s.

His church family greatly loved Norm at Calvary Chapel of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. His pastor said he would encourage and exhort many within the congregation.

He is survived by his two sons, James “Brian” Owen (Valerie) of Hayden, Idaho, and Dennis Allen Owen (Stella) of Kellogg, Idaho; his grandchildren, Crystal Owen Holloway (James) of Spokane Valley, Wash., Dale Owen of Hayden, Idaho, Michael Owen of North Dakota, and Samantha Owen of Minnesota; his great-grandchildren include Novalee and Kira Holloway and Neveah and Braelynn Owen.
