Glacier Twins Coach Nathan Brown is excited for the team to continue growing and improving throughout the 2026 season.

“The day-to-day goal is to get better from yesterday,” Brown said.

Brown is entering his second year as head coach of the Glacier Twins A-team, coming up on a decade coaching for the Twins program.

So far, the Twins (1-11) have played 12 games, and they have battled in each one. Brown makes it clear that he has already witnessed improvement in the team.

This year’s roster of sixteen players is on the younger side, with ten of the athletes being new to the program. The team has three seniors, with two of them being returners. Despite the young lineup, Brown says that he and the other staff were excited to see growth in the roster from last season. Brown is hopeful that the program will return to having two fully rostered teams in the near future.

Many of the other teams in the Twins’ league are weighted with returning players. Brown said that the Bitterroot Red Sox, last year’s conference champions, will be some of the biggest competition that he expects to face this year. The Red Sox roster consists mainly of returners.

This season means much more than a winning record - it is about building team cohesion, learning lessons together, and making memories, Brown said.

“It’s not about the wins and losses of today but about building the program for the future,” Brown said when addressing their season record.

“Most of my favorite memories throughout the seasons are the road trips, corn hole tournaments, staying overnight, and listening to music on the bus,” Brown said. “I look forward to the experience itself over solely wins.”

The Twins will play the Missoula Mavericks on the road this upcoming weekend.
