A woman’s daughter allegedly helped a friend take her debit card, which the friend then used to pick up the tab for a week. The mother contacted the Kalispell Police Department wanting to report the alleged theft after calling her bank to turn off the card.

A woman allegedly placed her car and house keys on a counter when a man and woman walked up, snatched them and ran off, headed toward a liquor store. She waited by the car to make sure the duo didn’t steal it.

A man called the police, wanting officers to remove his brother, who lived with his mother, from her house. The sticking point was that he wasn’t causing any trouble. The caller ignored the dispatcher’s point that it was a civil issue, doubling down that he wanted him removed from the premises. An officer spoke to the mother, who said everything was OK and that she had an argument with her son the previous day about “doing her exercises,” noting that their spats were “typical mother-son arguments.” The officer did not see any signs of abuse or stress.

A manager asked a woman in her 20s standing at the front entrance to leave because she was yelling. When the manager threatened to call the cops, she offered a blunt reply: “Call them.” Then she started throwing her belongings around. The manager told police that she appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Officers told her she would be trespassing if she went back to the property.

Officers received a later call from a kid at the skate park about a woman with messy hair who was allegedly acting strangely and drinking vodka straight from the bottle. Officers told her she was banned from Woodland Park for 24 hours.
