Swimmers second at Bitterroot

The Columbia Falls swim team took second in the Bitterroot last week.

“We earned 10 first places, seven second, and six third place finishes on the weekend. We had several first-time finalists this weekend, as well, which shows how well the team is progressing,” coach Kyle Babcock said.
He noted Bitterroot, a perennial rival, had a large showing at their home meet and swam really well.
“Our kids showed and swam hard, as they normally do. We have an outstanding group of new swimmers who are coming on strong and will help make us very competitive as we get ready for state. Adler Maltby, Madden Maltby, Stetson Morris, Payton Morris, Teddy Morris, James Baiar, Maddie Conway, Jojo Goodsell, Piper Becker, Maeve Umbiaco, Vivi Rowe and Ayla Chilson just to name a few,” Babcock said.
The team is off to Chester this weekend.
