Roger Leon Hanson of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, 88, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2026.
Roger was born on March 1, 1938, to Albert and Emma Hanson in Mobridge, South Dakota.
He is preceded in death by one brother and he is survived by two younger brothers. He served in the United States Army as a medic. He later became a radiologist and nuclear medicine technician.
Roger married Sandra Dickenson Holt on June 17, 1971. They raised five sons, and enjoyed nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
They continued their medical careers and world travels and eventually retired in Columbus, Texas, where Sandy passed away on October 2, 2021.
Roger will be interred next to Sandy in Weimar, Texas in a ceremony on August 1, 2026.
