The new building of Trinity Lutheran Church was dedicated on June 27. Many members of the congregation and community contributed gifts, money, and time to make this possible.

Two Canadian youths were arrested in Boundary County after a high speed chase near the Mount Hall School and will be deported back to Canada as undesirable aliens.

A $15 million project for the Spokane Sector of US Customs and Border Patrol will begin on July 13 in Bonners Ferry. The facility will take about a year to build.
At a recent social event concluding a very successful Bonners Ferry Rotary Club year, Bill McClintock, president , presented David McIntosh, DDS, with the 2010-2011 "Rotarian of the Year" award.
A Bonners Ferry man, using a fly tied by his son, landed an 11 lb rainbow trout in the opening minutes of the ninth annual Trout and Salmon Derby at Lake Koocanusa. Doug Flory captured the title for the largest fish.
