Housing voucher programs

The Montana Department of Commerce will host a free webinar regarding housing voucher programs on June 29 at 10 a.m. The voucher programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and are administered by authorized public housing authorities across the country. FBA Board meeting       

The Flathead Building Association Board will conduct its meeting from 7 to 8:30 a.m. on June 30 at the Glacier Bank Operations Center located at 2240 U.S. 93 S. in Kalispell. For more information, call Mark Freidline at 752-2422. 


Chamber BASH      

Join Lakeside/Somers Chamber of Commerce for an upbeat evening of connection, conversation, and community at this month’s BASH (Business Associates Social Hour). It takes place from 4 to 5 p.m. on June 30 at Tete Hair Salon, located at 7100 US 93. Free for members and $5 for guests. 


Matching Funds program

The Montana Department of Commerce's Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer Matching Funds Program will be open for applications on July 1 and close on April 30, 2027. The Matching Funds Program assists technology-based Montana companies by providing additional funding that can be used for technology development or other uses. Grants of up to $30,000 are available. Wood Products Revolving Fund 

The Montana Department of Commerce's Wood Products Revolving Loan Fund is accepting new applications. The program offers a loan participation structure for requests up to $2 million and continues to provide direct loans to eligible businesses for amounts under $1 million. The application portal will remain open until all available funds are committed, with approximately $1.4 million currently available. The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce holds Coffee with the Chamber at 8:30 a.m. on July 7 at Farming for the Future Academy, 400 Veterans Dr., Columbia Falls. Business networking followed by introductions of all attendees.
