Phyllis Emily Bogdane, 90

We are saddened to announce the passing of Phyllis Emily Bogdane, our cousin, our aunt, our friend and devoted dog mom to Ricky.

Phyllis was born in 1935 in Saskatchewan, Canada, and grew up in Vancouver, where she completed her nursing training. She worked in New Zealand, Seattle, Yosemite, Jackson Hole and finally Kalispell, where she lived and worked at the hospital for many decades. She was always having adventures with good friends and colleagues along the way. 

Phyllis loved nursing, animals and especially Montana. 

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, July 25, at 1 p.m. at the VFW. Please wear something bright and summery for the celebration. Catering by Desoto Grill. 

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the new Phyllis Pet Pantry at the Humane Society of Northwest Montana. The Pet Pantry was made possible through Phyllis’s generosity. Donations will be accepted at the celebration of life and at the Humane Society.
