LIND — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a Lind man suspected of involvement in an assault Sunday afternoon in Lind.
Gage Remington, 23, is being sought in connection with a case of first-degree assault, according to a release from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
“The victim of the assault was treated at the scene by an off-duty firefighter, a good Samaritan and later airlifted to a medical center for emergency treatment,” Adams County Sheriff Dale Wagner wrote in the release.
Remington was last seen wearing camouflage clothing, Wagner said. Anyone who sees him is asked to contact ACSO, 509-659-1122.

OTHELLO — State Route 26 is closed due to a fatality collision between a car and a semitruck near South Booker Road about four miles east of Othello, according to information from the Washington State Patrol and the Washington Department of Transportation.
