Carl W. Williams, known affectionately by many as “CC Rider,” passed away on Dec. 2, 2025, at the age of 68.

Born and adopted by Bill and Jeannie Williams, Carl’s journey began in Florida before his family moved to the Flathead Valley when he was a young boy. Growing up in Columbia Falls, where he attended elementary and high school, Carl developed a lifelong love for the outdoors and a hardworking spirit.

Carl found his professional calling in concrete work, a trade he mastered over many years. When he wasn’t working, he was living life at full speed — whether he was hunting, fishing, or indulging his passion for driving fast.

After his parents retired back to Florida, Carl eventually followed them south to remain close to family. Throughout his life, Carl’s greatest gift was his capacity for friendship. He was loved by many and was known to be one of the best friends a person could ever have.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Jeannie. He leaves behind a wide circle of friends in both Montana and Florida who will dearly miss his loyalty and his spirit.

In accordance with Carl’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Instead, Carl would like those who knew and loved him to remember him whenever they're out hunting, fishing, or just enjoying the outdoors.
