Lawrence David “Larry” Williams, 83, of Troy, Montana, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, in the home of his sister, surrounded by love.

Larry was born on June 28, 1942, in Kalispell, Montana, and grew up in Libby – the place that shaped him, grounded him and ultimately became the landscape of his entire life.

Larry is survived by his wife, Liz Williams; his children Joanna (Brent) Rogers, Larry “Sonny” (Joy) Williams; his stepchildren Kerri (Robert) Clark, Kevin (Susan) Everett, Kenneth (Connie) Everett, Kate (Roger) Everett Moak, Keith (Gemma) Everett, Bill Meacham, Joey (Veronika) Meacham, and Denise (Bryan) Searles; his sister Dorothy Snyder; and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Elsie Williams; his sister Glenda Allen; his daughter Corina Peek; his son David Williams; and his stepson David Meacham.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Libby Assembly of God, with fellowship to follow in the Worship Hall. The service will not be livestreamed.
