Stoke to conduct test firing Wednesday

MOSES LAKE — Stoke Space has announced through the Grant County Sheriff’s Office that the company will be test firing rockets between 2 and 9 p.m. Wednesday. During the test firing, Road G NE will be closed between State Route 17 and Road 10 NE. Travelers are advised to find alternate routes.
Stoke Space is a rocket development company that is working to develop a variety of technologies, including reusable second-stage rockets.

Two shot, suspect in custody
A suspect is in custody after allegedly shooting and injuring two people in Coeur d’Alene early Tuesday morning. The Coeur d’Alene Police Department was called to an apartment complex in the 200 block of 19th Street around 3:30 a.m. after a shot was reported to have been fired.
