Public input period for growth policy extended

At the regular meeting of the Whitefish City Council held on Monday, March 2 the City Council cancelled the public hearing advertised for March 16, regarding the adoption of the Vision Whitefish 2045 Community Plan and Future Land Use Map and continued the hearing to March 23.
The City Council meeting on March 23, 2026, will be held at 7:10 p.m. in the Whitefish City Council Chambers, located in City Hall, at 418 E. Second Street. The City Council may, at its discretion, continue the hearing on March 23 to the regular meeting of the City Council on April 6, 2026.
Documents pertaining to the Vision Whitefish 2045 Community Plan and Future Land Use Map are available for review at City Hall during regular business hours or online at engagewhitefish.com.
Individuals may attend in person, join the live virtual meeting via Zoom, or submit written testimony to make known their views and concerns. Participation and the opportunity to comment via Zoom is not guaranteed if unforeseen technical issues occur. Comments in writing may be forwarded to Michelle Howke, City Clerk at P.O.
