COEUR d’ALENE — The Housing Solutions Partnership’s 5th annual Housing and Growth Workshop will provide important updates on efforts to increase the affordability and availability of local worker housing in North Idaho.

The free workshop, set for 5-7:30 p.m. March 5 in the Coeur d’Alene Library Community Room, is designed to help local planners, elected officials, planning and zoning commissioners, builders and developers explore solutions to Kootenai County’s housing crisis.

“The Housing Solutions Partnership has successfully launched several projects that are creating more affordable housing options for local workers,” said Kiki Miller, a Coeur d’Alene council member and a founder of the Housing Solutions Partnership. “Several other projects are in progress and on the horizon.”

The event will include presentations on deed-restricted housing developments that are adding more than 660 affordable homes in Kootenai County, highlights of the partnership’s work and upcoming projects, a legislative update and more.

Space is limited so please RSVP by emailing [email protected].
