SANDPOINT — A list of over 50 scholarships from local organizations was released by Sandpoint High School on Wednesday.

A majority of the scholarships are available to all students in Bonner County, but each comes with its own set of requirements. These requirements are set by each organization and can range from requiring the student to be active in a career technical education program to having plans to pursue an aeronautical career.

All the local scholarship applications are due April 10.

“Our community is so amazing and every year they give away literally thousands and thousands of dollars to our seniors and students to pursue some type of postsecondary education,” post-secondary counselor at SHS Jeralyn Mire said in a press release. “Two-year, four-year and training programs and it is just staggering to see the generosity of so many people and groups.”
