Law roundup: Reckless drivers race to the drive-thru line

A “hangry” man driving a GMC pickup reportedly ran a vehicle off the road — whose driver said they had to swerve into the ditch to avoid being hit — just to pull into a drive-thru.
A few minutes later, Kalispell Police Department officers reportedly stopped the GMC, which had no license plate, and ticketed the man for driving while suspended, no proof of insurance and operating a vehicle that was not properly registered.
A man driving a gray Tundra was allegedly cutting vehicles off and then got out and yelled at other cars before getting in line at a drive-thru. Someone called the police, concerned he might be drunk due to his behavior and reckless driving. The man reportedly told officers that he thought a woman hit his truck and got out to examine it and finding no damage, went on his merry way.
A post office station manager allegedly told an employee to use his office to perform union duties away from other employees, saying he was disrupting the office workflow. He reportedly became aggressive and got into the manager’s face, who called the police when he refused to leave, saying he had a right to be there. Both employees accused each other of overstepping their roles. Their boss was called and he agreed to leave for the day.
A man called the police for advice, worried that his Airbnb was “contaminated,” alleging that recent guests might have been involved with drugs and prostitutes.
Someone driving behind a busted-up Chevy claimed the man driving it was “tweaking,” saying his head was bobbing like he was on drugs and was worried he wasn’t alert enough to drive.
A hotel employee reportedly entered a room to find a man passed out and saw multiple “crack pipes” lying around. When told to leave, he locked himself inside the room. He then packed up and booked it out of there. Security personnel checked the room and did not find any paraphernalia left behind.
Someone at a sandwich shop was suspicious of two people who reportedly entered a building “super fast” through the back doors, which they had never seen anyone use before. Officers didn’t see anything suspicious.
A speeding black Ford with an “employer plate” was allegedly swerving in both lanes on U.S. 93.
