Justin "Jay" Pulse, age 56 of Polson, passed away Feb. 18, 2026. Jay was born June 20, 1969, in Oregon City, Ore., to Charles Jay Pulse and Roberta Powell.

Jay was raised in Oregon City and moved to Montana at age 17. He worked for Log Crafters building log homes for 20 years. He then attended Salish Kootenai College, earning his CDL in hazardous transport and heavy equipment operation.

Justin joined Department of Homeland Security for 15-and-one-half years as a lead officer where he met Leah Pulse. The two were married March 25, 2013.

Jay enjoyed fishing, was a master of the barbeque, and delighted in home improvement projects, taking scenic road trips, singing, and grabbing a IPA with friends and family.

Jay was preceded in death by his stepson, Greggory Bancroft, his parents, nine brothers and sisters, many aunts and uncles, along with so many others.

Jay is survived by his wife, Leah Pulse; his stepchildren, Sam Wall (Keelin), and Jerrica Wall; one grandson, Jaidyn Wall; and three siblings, Mikel Pulse, Mitchell James and Tammy Pulse, all residing in Montana.

Services will be held at Polson Foursquare Church at 2 p.m. March 14, with a potluck to follow.
