MINERAL COUNTY FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT  PUBLIC NOTICE March 11, 2026  The Mineral County Environmental Health and Planning Department received a Floodplain Permit application from Morrison Maierle for the removal and replacement of the westbound bridge on I-90 at the Cyr Interchange (RP 70.1, MDT Structure Number 01385) located in Alberton, MT, Section 1, Township 14 North, Range 24 West, PMM, Mineral County, MT.  Due to the extent of deterioration, the age of the structure, and substandard shoulder widths, a full replacement is warranted. Other land uses in the project area include MDT right-of-way and private property.  Copies of the application can be reviewed at the Mineral County Environmental Health and Planning Department. Comments will be taken until March 26 2026, by the Mineral County Environmental Health and Planning Department, PO Box 396, Superior, Montana, 59872 or phone (406) 822-3525.   PUBLISHED IN THE MINERAL INDEPENDENT ON MARCH 11, 2026.
