NorthWestern Energy proposes a strip of land 30 feet wide, 15 feet on each side of a centerline, commencing at the low watermark of the south side of Flathead river on the section line of Sections 2 and 11, T30N, R20W, then approximately 1250’ NW to the low water mark of the north side of the Flathead River in Section 2, for a total of approximately 1.01 AC. The DNRC is in the scoping phase of the project environmental assessment, so all project data are preliminary estimates. In preparation for this project, specialists such as wildlife biologists, hydrologists, soil scientists, and archeologists will be consulted.
