Filmmaker premieres Baja motorsports documentary today

The filmmaker behind the 2023 YouTube hit “Keep the Bike Moving,” Nick Hyphen, is back documenting another Baja adventure in “Amateur Hour Racing.”
Teaming up with fellow Sandpoint local and Baja Ironman finisher, Kevin Clyde, the pair have traded two wheels for four and an attempt the biggest offroad race event in North America, The Baja 1000.
"Amateur Hour Racing" captures the grit, camaraderie, and sheer audacity of two North Idaho locals who step outside their comfort zone to pursue their motorsport and childhood dreams.
The film will be showcased in a world premiere event at the Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave., on Thursday, March 12. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the film begins at 7 p.m. Following the screening, Hyphen and Clyde will host a question-and-answer session.
This is a night for film lovers, motorsports fans, endurance athletes, and dreamers alike. Hang onto your seat—these two North Idaho locals are chasing big dreams and taking you along for the ride.
