PREP ROUNDUP: Rain, snow washes out prep openers

Due to rain and snow in the area, three local prep baseball teams scheduled to open the season will have to wait another day to get the season started.
Coeur d'Alene's nonleague game against West Valley of Spokane was postponed due to rain.
In addition, a nonleague doubleheader between Bonners Ferry and host Lake City was also postponed due to snow, as well as a nonleague game between Kellogg and Timberlake in Spirit Lake.
No makeup dates were announced for the Coeur d'Alene and Lake City games.
Kellogg and Timberlake moved their game to March 23 at 3 p.m.
