Red Cross seeks blood donors

The American Red Cross is encouraging donors to help the national blood supply recover following a severe shortage by making an appointment to give blood. Donors of all blood types remain critical to keeping momentum up and the blood supply steady headed into spring.
The Red Cross will perform A1C testing, a measurement of average blood sugar levels, on successful blood, platelet and plasma donations made March 1-31. In addition, those who give blood this month will receive a $15 Amazon gift card by email.
Upcoming donation opportunities In the Mission Valley:
Polson: noon-5:15 p.m. March 17 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church; and 9:30 a.m.-2:45 p.m. March 25 at First Presbyterian Church.
St. Ignatius: noon-6 p.m. March 31 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
