Americana-folk duo, Watchhouse, formerly known as Mandolin Orange, makes a tour stop in Kalispell June 25.  Formed in 2009, the North Carolina-based duo — married couple, Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz — started out playing in coffee shops and restaurants, moving up to sold-out shows at legendary venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and the Ryman Auditorium in Tennessee.

“The duo, now with a family of their own, are two musicians with profound chemistry, performing earnest yet masterfully crafted songs that encompass the unknowable mysteries of life, existential heartbreak and communal joys of modern life,” their bio states at watchhouseband.com.

Their new studio album “Rituals” was released on May 30, 2025, and marks the band’s first release of all new, original songs since 2021. The album explores the boundaries between identity and awareness, and how people often confuse patterns with truths. Their self-titled album from 2021 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and earned praise from “Rolling Stone,” NPR Music and “American Songwriter.”

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Wachholz College Center, 795 Grandview Dr., Kalispell.

Ticket prices range from $42, $49 and $58, which includes all fees, and may be purchased at wccmt.org or by contacting the ticket office at 756-1400.
