Credit where credit’s due

In two recent issues of the Leader we incorrectly identified the authors of stories. Last week’s page A2 article titled “Man arrested in Polson sentenced to 194 months in prison” was an edited press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office that we inaccurately credited to Jeff Smith/Anderson Broadcasting, who covers District Court news for the Leader.

Also, a story that appeared on B8 of the Feb. 26 issue titled “Ronan ag teacher, FFA advisor is sowing seeds for the future” was written by reporter Berl Tiskus, not Emily Messer as we claimed. Emily took the photo that accompanied the story, however.
