Jeffrey Dean Braun, beloved husband, father, and man of faith, sadly passed away on Feb. 27, 2026, at the age of 44.

Jeff was born Nov. 21, 1981, in Tacoma, Wash. Jeff lived a life guided by love for his family and devotion to the Lord. He was known for his generosity, strength and faith. Jeff loved his sons dearly and was grateful to be their father. He loved them with an unconditional love, was proud of their accomplishments and worked hard to provide, guide and encourage them. Jeff was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Briana. Together they built a home and life centered on family, compassion, lots of jokes and trust in God. 

Jeff is survived by his wife, Briana, sons Alfred, 5, Dominic, 23, and Ashton, 17. His parents, Rod Braun and Cathy Haas Gustafson; stepparents, Candace Braun and Mark Gustafson; grandparents, Alfred and Dixie Braun; sister, Hanna; and brother, Adam. Nephews Michael DeRosie-Drye II, Isaiah DeRosie-Drye, Nieces Isabella DeRosie-Drye, Emma Braun and Kessly Braun. He is preceded in death by his Great-Grandma Erna Braun, Grandma Marlys Braun, Grandparents Lone and Ervin Raugust, Great Grandparents Harold and Clara Zabel, Sister Christy Braun and Cousin Robert Hall. 

Though he is no longer with us, Jeff's love, faith, and memories will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

There will be a service to celebrate the life of this wonderful man at Real Life Church in Post Falls on March 21, 2026, at 11 a.m., 1860 N. Cecil Rd. Post Falls, ID.
