Downtown Association offers 'weekend getaway'

The Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association is encouraging people to shop local with their Weekend Getaway promotion.

COEUR d'ALENE — Shoppers who support downtown businesses this spring could win a weekend getaway valued at more than $1,000.
The promotion, hosted by the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association, runs through April 26 and will award two winners a lakeside weekend experience in downtown Coeur d’Alene.
Each prize package includes a one-night stay at a downtown hotel and $800 in gift certificates to participating downtown shops and restaurants, intended to cover a weekend of shopping, dining and local experiences.
Customers can enter by shopping at participating businesses and scanning a QR code at checkout. Those who make a purchase during their visit will receive an additional entry.
