EPHRATA — The reports below were provided by the Moses Lake Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.   

March 13 

26EP0576: Hawk Fuel, W Deacon Ave, George. 1:05 a.m. A woman reported an argument with a man subject to a no-contact order; dispatch confirmed the order remained active.  

26EP0579: NAPA Auto Parts area, 1050 Basin St SW, Ephrata (seen near Grants Lumber/McDonald’s). 6:31 a.m. Officers contacted a person carrying a snow shovel and advised him to stay out of the roadway and not cross the tracks.  

26EP0580: 13000 block of Rd A.5 NW. 8:44 a.m. Report of harassment/civil issue—“landlord” allegedly threatened to cut power and removed Wi‑Fi after the resident declined to provide statements about an incarcerated subject.  

26EP0581: Hawk Fuel, 785 Basin St NW, Ephrata. 10:28 a.m. Traffic complaint—report that a driver twice left the store without stopping and nearly caused collisions.  

26EP0582: 1st Ave SE, Ephrata (Find My indicated Bow St., Moses Lake). 11:44 a.m. Reported lost iPods; app showed the device at an address in Moses Lake and the caller requested help recovering it.  

26EP0583: D St SE, Ephrata. 2:04 p.m. Caller said a juvenile snuck someone into the residence and believed the visitor threatened to burn the house; requested the person be trespassed.  

26EP0584: A St NE and 3rd Ave NE, Ephrata. 9:19 p.m. Single‑vehicle crash; the car failed to negotiate a right turn, left the roadway, and damaged a PUD box and a bush.  

March 14 

26EP0585: McDonald’s, 1010 Basin St SW, Ephrata. 9:28 a.m. Suspected counterfeit $100 bill seized; the passer said she received it at her taco truck in George from an unknown customer.  

26EP0586: 100 block of Airport St NE, Ephrata. 9:38 a.m. Found dog with no chip; an employee planned to provide temporary housing.  

26EP0588: Empire Rd and Rd 14 NW. 1:47 p.m. Welfare check—officers spoke with an upset man after a breakup; he denied suicidal intent and left with a family member to Quincy.

26EP0589: 100 block of Basin St SW, Ephrata. 2:44 p.m. Welfare check—woman reported concerns someone was entering her home when she wasn’t there; officers advised extra patrols as time allowed.  

26EP0590: E St SW, Ephrata. 3:18 p.m. Past burglary—resident believed items were taken within the past week and requested a case number to assist with an early medication refill.  

26EP0591: Location not listed. 8:13 p.m. Two vehicles backed out simultaneously from parking spaces and collided; fault could not be determined, and both had reportable damage.  

March 15 

26EP0592: 2nd Ave NE and Linda Ridge Loop. 12:39 a.m. Boat with expired registration parked on the street; tagged for 24‑hour removal.  

26EP0593: 2nd Ave NE and Linda Ridge Loop. 12:45 a.m. Vehicle parked facing the wrong way with expired registration; tagged for 24‑hour removal and cited for wrong‑way parking.  

26EP0594: 2nd Ave NE and Linda Ridge Loop. 12:50 a.m. Unlicensed/unregistered black trailer parked on the street; tagged for 24‑hour removal.  

26EP0595: Linda Ridge Loop (near a fire hydrant). 1:09 a.m. Expired trailer and tractor parked too close to a hydrant; trailer tagged for 24‑hour removal and a citation issued for hydrant violation.  

26EP0596: Linda Ridge Loop. 1:15 a.m. Vehicle parked facing the wrong way with expired registration; tagged for 24‑hour removal and cited for wrong‑way parking.  

26EP0597: Linda Ridge Loop. 1:45 a.m. Vehicle parked facing the wrong way with expired registration; tagged for 24‑hour removal and cited for wrong‑way parking.  

26EP0598: SR 282 and Nat Washington Way. 8:37 a.m. Disabled/parked vehicle; owner contacted at home and said he would remove it.  

26EP0600: Shady Acres Rd NW, Ephrata. 11:51 a.m. Report of a man sweeping and possibly defacing signs; officers found no one in the area and no damage.  

26EP0601: Location not listed. 12:00 p.m. Vehicle reportedly blocking a driveway; it left before officers arrived.  

26EP0602: 2800 block of Rd 14.6 NW. 12:47 p.m. Agency assist—welfare check; all was fine.  

26EP0604: 300 block of E St NE. 2:43 p.m. Report of screaming outside; officers determined the noise likely came from children roughhousing.  

26EP0605: Location not listed. 3:38 p.m. Report of smoke and possible fire behind a stove; officers ensured everyone evacuated before fire crews took over.  

26EP0607: 1200 block of Yakima St SE. 5:41 p.m. Welfare check—neighbor not seen in two days; family contacted and said they are assisting due to mental‑health concerns.  

26EP0608: Location not listed. 5:50 p.m. iPhone crash notification; owner reported she had dropped her phone and there was no emergency.  

26EP0609: Location not listed. 6:10 p.m. Cold theft—three juveniles reportedly pushed out a cart with multiple cases of alcoholic beverages.
