Law roundup: Store calls for a criminal cleanup on aisle six

A man wearing a black-and-white jacket with red accents was spotted in the candy aisle reportedly trying to conceal a package of meat and a health and beauty item. Kalispell Police officers ticketed him for theft and he was given a lifetime ban from the grocery store chain’s locations.  

A vehicle that was reportedly sideswiped struck a light pole with a low-voltage power line attached to it on West Idaho Street. First responders did not get a reading when checking the voltage and cordoned off the area with caution tape, leaving it for Flathead Electric Cooperative, which was having trouble contacting technicians. 

A man pulled up to a drive-thru coffee stand and allegedly exposed himself to the baristas.   

A vehicle reportedly blew its tires on spikes set up by law enforcement during a vehicle pursuit and went into a ditch. A woman was taken to jail. 

A woman’s ex allegedly had a copy of her driver’s license, which left her worried that he would use it to steal her identity. An officer instructed her to call the Department of Motor Vehicles to get her license number changed. 

The manager of a bar called the police after underage girls allegedly snuck into the establishment. One girl was possibly hiding out in a bathroom stall while another tried to run. Parties were counseled. 

A vehicle traveling south on Whitefish Stage Road reportedly swerved into oncoming traffic. 

Someone complained about a vehicle parked in a narrow entrance to a gym parking lot. 

A woman called the police, alleging her husband was drinking and driving with children in the vehicle. 

A man wearing a black jacket had reportedly been coming and going to a location all day and talked to someone about killing others.
