Little Live Radio Hour being held today
Bonner County Daily Bee | UPDATED 12 hours, 17 minutes AGO
The Little Live Radio Hour, a monthly presentation from Panhandle Community Radio — KRFY, 88.5 FM — and The Festival at Sandpoint, is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in style today with two Celtic-influenced local bands set to take the stage at The Hive, 207 N. First Ave.
Local musician Brendan Kelty has performed with a variety of musicians on or around St. Patrick’s Day in years past, and with fiddler Andy Ohlrich and banjo player Chloey Davis, will provide half the music for this hour.
They’re sharing the stage with Bridges Home, a trio made up of Dave, Tami and Paul Gunter, who will be playing selections from their extensive catalogue, which includes their 2014 CD The Celtic Album.
Local poets and writers will be contributing some (radio-friendly!) limericks to round out the hour.
