SANDPOINT — Weight limits are in force on most of the county's roads as spring breakup conditions continue, Bonner County Road & Bridge officials said.
Under weight limit restrictions, no early morning hauling is allowed on any Bonner County-maintained road posted with such restrictions. A green flag indicates weight restrictions are imminent; a red flag or no flag indicates weight restrictions are in effect.

All other roads remain posted with red flags indicating weight restrictions are in place.
• District 2 (Priest River/Priest Lake) — Weight limit restrictions have been lifted on Dufort Road, Old Priest River Road, Cedar Lane, roads in the Oldtown area, Silver Birch Lane, Hoo Doo Loop, Hoop Loop, Rena Road, Womack Road, Nagel Road, Blackthorn Road, and Jachetta Road.
• District 3 (Sandpoint/Clark Fork) — All roads have been posted with red flags indicating weight restrictions are in place.
Per county ordinance, it is the responsibility of the hauler to contact the Bonner County Road & Bridge Department to determine whether or not these restrictions are in place. The restrictions will remain in effect until changed, at which time updates will be posted.
