The junior guard averaged 16.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.9 steals, 3.4 assists and 1.3 blocks per game and was named MVP of the Mountain Christian League for the Lions of Hayden, who won the Gold Ball (regular season title) for the first time, and won the league tournament. "Cy is a high-IQ, ultra-competitive player who creates matchup problems for opponents," coach Jorge Vara II said. "He had a breakout season, scoring consistently at all three levels despite being the focus of every defense, while also growing into a stronger leader and more complete all-around player."
