Teagan,7, submitted this coloring of Akira, a pup available for adoption at Grant County Animal Outreach. Akira is only a few months old, and will eventually grow up to be around 40 pounds.

Ashlynn, age 11, put a lot of effort into this smiling picture of Akira with pink ears and a ton of happy to share with the world.
Last week, we asked the children of the Columbia Basin to try coloring Akira, our pet of the day last Wednesday. Ashlynn, 11, Odette, 9, and Teagan, 7, submitted these wonderful pictures with a bit of artistic flare. We really appreciate them sharing their artwork with us.
Akira is still available for adoption at Grant County Animal Outreach.
