Hannum and Deal top State B selections

ON THE BREAK, Lady Hawk junior Addy Deal and her senior teammate Gabi Hannum were both named District 7B first team all-conference and All-State B, and fellow senior Lady Hawk Solveig Nygaard was named 7B second team by conference coaches last week. Thompson Falls Lady Hawks senior Gabi Hannum and junior Addy Deal were named first team and All-State B to highlight local selections to the 2025-2026 District 7B Girls All-Conference teams.
From the Plains Trotters, junior Ava Lawyer was also named first team.
Also from Thompson Falls, senior Solveig Nygaard garnered second team 7B recognition, as did Plains sophomore Hadyn Rice.
Mission senior Cora Matt was the other District 7B All-State B pick and her Lady Bulldog teammates junior Kieran Incashola and senior Sheadon Kain were also named first team.
All-conference teams are selected by vote of league coaches following the regular season of play.

Lady Hawks feel the pain, enjoy gain in Mission
The Hawks ended up playing Troy, Loyola and Anaconda in round-robin games to 22 points, and then Plains in a best-of-three games match to 15 points to top off their appearance in Mission.

Hawk soccer falls to Breakers, ties with Pirates
The Thompson Falls-Plains-St. Regis Blue Hawk girls opened season soccer plays with a couple great efforts on the pitch, playing well but falling 4-0 to Loyola Friday, and battling Polson to a 1-1 draw on their own field Saturday. Both matches were played in Polson.
