Two Horsemen, two Hawks make All-Conference

Juniors Cooper Meredith and Ben Aldridge of the Plains Horsemen, and junior Ethan Burgess and sophomore Kellen LeCoure of the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks have been named to the 2025-2026 District 7B Boys All-Conference team.

Meredith was named first team and Aldridge, Burgess and LeCoure second team. Aldridge attends school in Hot Springs but plays basketball for Plains as part of a cooperative agreement between the schools.

Seniors Lex LaFrombois of Mission, Carson Orr of Troy and Rowan Burrow of Eureka were the three District 7B first team selections who were also awarded All-State B honors.

Conference all-star teams are determined by vote of league coaches following the regular season of play.

Boys Basketball All-Conference

First team

Lex LaFrombois*, sr., Mission; Carson Orr*, sr., Troy; Rowan Burrow*, sr., Eureka; Nolan Morris, sr., Troy; Brody Chapman, so., Eureka; Cooper Meredith, jr., Plains.

Second team

Logan Cuffe, jr., Eureka; Ethan Burgess, jr., Thompson Falls; Ben Aldridge, jr., Plains; Vincent Shephard, jr., Mission; Kellen LeCoure, jr., Thompson Falls.

Sheldon Frank and Dallas Weaver of the Noxon-Thompson Falls Red Devils have been named as alternates on the West team for the 2026 Montana All-Star High School baseball game to be played at Legends Stadium in Butte August 15.

From Coeur d‘Alene to Deer Park, the North softball team, including players from Thompson Falls, Noxon, Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry, travels well, and have continued tearing up the basepaths at tournaments since the high school season ended.
