The Whitefish Education Foundation’s Make Music Resonate campaign continues to strike a powerful chord in the community, rallying support for music education for students of the Whitefish public schools. As the campaign builds momentum toward its $400,000 goal, the Foundation is excited to announce a transformative $50,000 closing match challenge from longtime community champions Jim and Lisa Stack.
The Make Music Resonate campaign has already raised $300,000, reflecting strong community belief in the value of music education and its lasting impact on students.
The Stacks’ generous match challenge comes at a critical moment, offering donors the opportunity to double their impact and help carry the campaign across the finish line.
“We are incredibly grateful to Jim and Lisa Stack for their leadership, generosity, and deep commitment to education in Whitefish,” said the Jesse Kuntz, executive director of the Whitefish Education Foundation. “Their closing match challenge not only accelerates our progress but inspires our community to come together and ensure music education continues to thrive in our schools.”
Funds raised through the Make Music Resonate campaign will support the band and orchestra programs in the Whitefish High School and Middle School, replacing instruments that are depleted in nature, with the oldest in the fleet dating back to the 1950s. As the campaign enters its final stretch, community support will be key to unlock the full $50,000 closing gift and reach the $400,000 goal.
Jim and Lisa Stack have long been dedicated supporters of the Whitefish community, and their latest gift exemplifies their passionate belief in investing in the future through education and the arts.
“Our love for music evolved from our experiences in elementary and high school band and orchestra,” the Stacks said. “We are excited to help close a campaign that supports our youth with such far-reaching, positive impact.”
The Whitefish Education Foundation extends sincere appreciation to the Stack family for their extraordinary generosity and for challenging others to join them in making music resonate for generations to come.
All donations made during the matching period will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. To learn more about the Make Music Resonate campaign or to contribute, visit the Whitefish Education Foundation’s website at whitefisheducationfoundation.org/mmr.
