Bonners Ferry Gun Club: Roffler earns first perfect score

In the final week of the Camas Prairie Trapshooting Association Leagues, temperatures varied throughout the region. In Bonners Ferry, it reached as low as 27 degrees, but the sun was shining, warming the tarmac. Twenty-seven participants joined in the shooting. Ron Campbell, Dustin Myers, and Joe Campbell each got a perfect score of 25/25.
One individual recorded a first-time perfect score: Judah Roffler shot his first-ever 25 straight targets. Bonners Ferry logged a 75/75 for the week. This moved the Club to twelfth place in the final standings, its highest finish in over a decade.
Duke's Claybusters clinched third place in the region with the highest weekly overall score of 74/75. Individual scores submitted for Week 10 were: Joe Campbell and Judah Roffler with 25, Mason Bryant and Aaron Michelson each got a 24, Randi Hibbard with 22, Zander Moseley got 21, Gage Kunksy and Trenton Myers both had 20, Robert Olson and Gus Christensen got 18, Milo Slevin and Jar Kunsky with 16 and Erik Aos with 11.
Final individual scores out of 250 birds were: Joe Campbell 236, Trenton Myers 222, Gage Kunsky 219, Judah Roffler 215, Randi Hibbard 211, Mason Bryant 209, Aaron Michelsen 202, Robert Olson 189, Gus Christensen 177, Zander Moseley 169, Erik Aos 159, Milo Slevin 155 and Jar Kunsky 146.
The Camas Prairie Trapshooting Association released the final list of All-Star Contenders for the 2026 season. The numbers next to their names indicate the number of 25s shot during the 10-week league. All-Stars include the top 5 scores in the overall categories. Ties will have to participate in a shootoff at the Camas Prairie Handicap this week in Walla Walla, WA.

Lastly, in the Bonners Ferry Gun Club Handicap, out of 50 birds, Ron Campbell took A Class with a score of 49. Amanda Myers took B Class on a countback with a 40. Total Week 9 scores were: Ron Campbell 49, Dustin Myers 42, Dean Nelson 41, Kristie Campbell and Amanda Myers 40, Donald Donoho and Mike Pruitt 37, and Gene Frederickson 34.
The final results for the 2026 Bonners Ferry Handicap were calculated by dropping the bottom two weekly scores (out of 400 birds): Ron Campbell 391, Dustin Myers 320, Kristie Campbell 319, Donald Donoho 314, Dean Nelson 310, Mike Pruitt 304, Amanda Myers 294 and Gene Frederickson 283.
Several Bonners Ferry Gun Club members and several members of the High School trap team will be heading to the Camas Prairie Trapshooting Association Handicap Shoot this week to participate in the 72nd annual Camas Prairie Handicap, an up to 900-bird competition over four days.
