Clinton “Clint” Leroy Pulver was born Sept. 2, 1961 to Jacqueline and Clifford Pulver in Billings, Montana.

Clint spent his entire life untethered by modern technology and all things that we call comforts. He was a nomad that never really put roots down in any one place. He defied rules, norms and questioned everything in the world around him.

He was often found disappearing into the wilderness for long periods of time with only the clothes on his back and very minimal supplies. His most favorite place in the world was in the wilderness around Callahan Creek in Troy, Montana where unbeknownst to him he was dubbed “Callahan Clint."

Clint and his slightly older sister Julie were very close throughout life and he depended on her to be his anchor. After her passing Clint leaned on her son Danny and his wife Candi.

On Jan. 19, 2026, Clint left this world on his own terms, just the way he lived.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacqueline and Clifford, his sister Julie, and many aunts and uncles.

He leaves behind his brothers Carl and Mike, nephews Danny Huff (Candi) and Shane Huff, nieces Courtney Pulver and Jaymi Reimann, great nieces Jayden, JayLee and Krisign. Great nephews Wesley, Hunter and Elijah.

No services will be held as that is not what he would have wanted. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any suicide prevention program or mental health program in his name.
