Kootenai Stargazers to meet Friday
The Kootenai Stargazer Astronomy Club will hold its monthly meeting Friday, March 20 in the Achievements conference room, 104 Mineral Ave. in Libby.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation starting at 7 p.m. Please enter through the back door.
Auditions planned for March 28 music showcase
Voices Unfolding is holding auditions for the first annual Musical Theatre Showcase.
Auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Maki Theatre in Libby.
The showcase is looking for performers from 10 to 30 with strong vocals, stage presence, character and confidence. Auditions are 60-90 seconds of a musical theatre song that shows your personality. Bring sheet music or a backing track and a short monologue.
Finalists will perform a solo musical theatre selection live, participate in opening and finale group numbers and will be considered for awards.

Good Friday Cross Walk set for April 3
All are welcome to participate in the second annual Good Friday Cross Walk at 10 a.m. Friday, April 3, at the Troy Christian Fellowship Church.
Walkers will leave the church, located at 78 Lake Creek Drive, and travel 3.2 miles to Roosevelt Park where live worship will be held.
Kootenai Valley Ducks Unlimited fundraising dinner April 25
The Kootenai Valley chapter of Ducks Unlimited will hold its 40th annual conservation dinner Saturday, April 25 at the Ponderosa Room in Libby City Hall.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and it ends at 9 p.m.
The event, which raises money for wetland conservation, will have live and silent auctions as well as raffles.
