Troy basketball players named All-State, All-Conference

The successful seasons by the Troy boys and girls basketball teams were capped with four players being named to either all-conference or all-state teams.

Senior Carson Orr received the highest honor when he was selected to the All-State Team.

Two of Orr’s teammates were named All-Conference.

Senior Nolan Morris was named to the First Team while junior Tommy Guinard was a Second Team pick.

For the Lady Trojans, freshman Aspen Orr was named to the All-Conference Second Team.

Orr led the Lady Trojans in five major statistical categories, including points, assists, steals, blocks and minutes played. She averaged 16 points per game, 5.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.2 steals while maintaining a 3.4 grade point average.
