The Idaho Community Foundation awarded more than $16 million in grants, scholarships, and charitable distributions in 2025 and surpassed more than $200 million in lifetime grantmaking, the nonprofit announced Monday.

Combined with the more than $5 million raised during Idaho Gives, ICF’s statewide, four-day giving event, the nonprofit delivered more than $21.2 million in charitable impact to support nonprofits, students and community-led initiatives in every region of Idaho.

“This past year demonstrated what’s possible when Idahoans move forward together,” Steve Burns, ICF president and CEO, said in a news release. “These milestones aren’t just numbers. They represent Idahoans lifting each other up, investing in their neighbors and building a brighter future for generations to come.”

These dollars supported “the causes Idahoans care about most,” according to the nonprofit, including educational and economic opportunities, health and wellness, housing stability, community benefit, arts and culture and environment and animal welfare.

“These investments reflect the generosity of ICF’s fundholders, donors and partners and reinforce Idahoans’ deep commitment to building thriving communities across all 44 counties,” a news release said.

The $5.1 million raised during Idaho Gives was record-breaking, according to ICF, and provided “crucial support” to hundreds of organizations across the state.

Meanwhile, ICF also surpassed $200 million in lifetime grantmaking last year, reaching the milestone years earlier than anticipated.

In celebration, the ICF awarded grants to nonprofits in every region of Idaho, including a $10,000 grant to Village of Hope CDA, which partners with foster parents, social workers and the broader community to provide support and resources to children and families in crisis.
