NO. 31963 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FLATHEAD COUNTY PLANNING BOARD REGULAR MEETING The Flathead County Planning Board will hold their regular meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, beginning at 6:00pm in the 2nd floor conference room of the South Campus Building, 40 11th Street West, Kalispell, Montana. During this meeting, the Board will hold a public hearing to consider the agenda items described below and make a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners who will take final action. 1. PUBLIC HEARING ORIGNALLY SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 11, 2026, WAS NOT HELD DUE TO LACK OF A QUORUM. A major land use permit application from Moose Creek Resort Holdings, LLC, with technical assistance from 406 Engineering, Inc., to allow for ten (10) guest cabins on property located at 141 Lake Five Road & 11505 US Highway 2 East in West Glacier, Montana (see Figure 1 below). The application is “after-the-fact” and is intended to bring the existing guest cabins into compliance with the zoning regulations. The property is approximately 22.11 acres in size and can be legally described as follows: Tract 1 of Certificate of Survey No. 20752 in the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 10 and the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 31 North, Range 19 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana. This item was reviewed by the Middle Canyon Land Use Advisory Committee on February 24, 2026. Documents and maps pertaining to these agenda items are on file for public inspection at Flathead County Planning and Zoning, South Campus Building, 40 11th Street West, Ste. 220 in Kalispell. All decisions made by the Planning Board are considered recommendations and will be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for final action. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the hearing and make their views and concerns known to the Board.
